Psalm 96: 6 Honor and majesty surround him; strength and beauty fill his sanctuary. (NLT)

The birds in the sky... The fish in the sea...
The flowers in the field, None come close to Thee...

Lord, what can mere humans say about Your beauty?
How can we describe Your worth?
When nothing in all creation compares to You? Nothing on this earth!
Before we even utter our words, we must realize our limits
And everything else, we recognize by Your Spirit
Like through Your revelation we know You created creation (Heb. 11:3)
But we went astray and demanded emancipation (Rom. 1:21-22)
But then You made a proclamation that You would bring salvation to Your people, with no hesitation
And so we waited with eager anticipation for the One who would save the nations...
And He did come... (John 1:14)
And oh how beautiful was He! Lifted high on that tree for depraved souls like them and I...
Yet we recognized Him not, even though we watched...Him..die... (John 1:10-11)
The ugliness of sin and the beauty of grace met on our behalf (Gal. 3:13, Col. 2:13-15)
We call You beautiful, but... we don't know the half... We don't know the half...

We can agree on the beauty of creation
But tell me, how about the Creator?
The worthy One, let's gaze at the Son
Disfigured and highly lifted up was the Savior (Isa. 52:14, John 3:13-15)
Though thousands of angels adore Him (Ps. 103:20-21, Ps. 148:2)
Sinful men do naught but abhor Him (Ps. 94:2-7)
But see love, that He who knew no sin became sin for our sakes, how appalling! (2 Cor. 5:21)
Made in His image but my how we've fallen (Gen. 1:26-27, Ecc. 7:29, Rom. 3:10, v23)
But He shed His priceless blood for our pardon (Eph. 2:13, Rom. 5:8-9)
Now prodigal sons and daughters get to come home and be free of the curse from the garden (Rom. 5:12-19, Rom. 8:14-16)
And one day we'll be like He is, for our real lives are hidden in Christ (1 Cor. 15:49, Col. 3:1-4, 1 John 3:1-3)
And we'll bask in His beauty and glory, sin-less and holy, living that eternal life!
